What is Transformer Aluminium Strip?
Transformer aluminium strip is a high conductivity aluminium material used as a winding conductor in power and distribution transformers. It is typically made from 1050, 1060, or 1070 aluminium alloys and features precise thickness tolerance, smooth surface, and excellent electrical performance.

Aluminium vs Copper in Transformer Winding
Cost Advantage
Aluminium is significantly more cost-effective than copper.
Weight
Aluminium is lighter, reducing transformer weight.
Conductivity
Copper has higher conductivity, but aluminium offers sufficient performance at lower cost.
